School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, is a pioneer institute in Eastern India providing Pharmaceutical Education and Research. Pharmacy is a multi disciplinary applied science that deals with identification, cultivation, collection, purification, isolation, characterization and compounding, dispensing, manufacturing, evaluation of drugs and drug products. Research in Pharmaceutical science helps to synthesize modern drugs which are potent Pharmaceuticals, capable of curing many diseases.

2010 Passout B.Pharm and M.Pharm Students are now placed in R&D, F&D, Quality Assurance, Production Departments of different Pharma industries like Bharat Serums & Vaccines Ltd.,Cipla, Aziant Drug Research Solution Pvt.Ltd., Kopran, Akums, Ranbaxy, Zydus Research Centre etc., and also Service Sectors, Hopitals, Clinical Research and Academics.

SPS has a dynamic placement cell that identifies the industry needs and demands from time to time and prepares its pharmacy students & scholars to meet the challenges. The placement cell is in contact with various MNCs for campusing of students.Students are allowed for campus during their final semester, but before that they are provided career informations, personality development and employability skills. These help students to assess and redesign their career paths.

1. Excellent infrastructural facilities complying the PCI, AICTE & UGC norms.
2. This institute strictly follows GLP. All the labs are designed in such a way that the students will get a thorough practical knowledge. For this the interactive teaching methods adopted include lectures, case discussions, exercises, seminars, lab assignments, project works, audio-visual aids and computer based learning tools etc..
