About CBT ::

Centre of Biotechnology, is a constituent institute affiliated to Siksha O Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, declared U/S 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 . It was established in the year 2007 to foster the need of biotechnology and life science research in eastern India. The institute is actively engaged in advanced research in the realm of plant, microbial and molecular biotechnology. The institute also imparts two years of postgraduate programme in Industrial Biotechnology and PhD programme under Siksha O Anusandhan University.

About Workshop ::

The Workshop under theme BIOINFORMATICS: CONVERTING DATA TO KNOWLEDGE (BCDK-10) brings together students, academicians, researchers and practitioners to share knowledge on recent trends in the area of Bioinformatics. In this workshop we wish to discuss Bioinformatics its Prospects and Applications to explore the possibility in solving different biological problems.

Who Can Apply ?

This workshop is mainly intended for the participants from, M.Sc. M.Tech (Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Life sciences), or B.Tech. (Biotechnology, Bioinformatics), M.Pharma and other scientific personnel who either work in Bioinformatics or are interested in understanding how to incorporate such data into their research .

How to Apply?

Interested participants may send their filled in application in prescribed format along with the registration fees mentioning the benefit of attending this workshop, with their complete biodata to Mr. Alok Prasad Das, Coordinator (alok1503@gmail.com). The selected candidates should bring a proof of identity (photo ID etc.) for the workshop. Outstation candidates are allowed for spot registration on the date of workshop.
