Vocational: Trained in various vocational works programme during the study of 2nd year B.Sc., B.Ed. Programme in 1976 in Regional College of Education, Bhubaneswar (Utkal University, Bhubaneswar)

Applied and Developmental Research Work:

Guiding 14 teachers for their Ph.D work, registered in Jadavpur University /BPUT /BIT, Ranchi/SOA University. Out of these 02 teachers have been awarded Ph.D, one from BIT, Mesra and other has been awarded of Ph.D degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
Since 1984 apart from teaching, engaged in process development of various pharmaceutically important organic chemicals & drugs of natural and synthetic origin.
In 1987, obtained an U.G.C. grant for minor Research Project (for teachers) entitled “Investigation on 2-Acetyl 1,3-Indandione derivatives as potential anticoagulants and antithrombotics drugs”. Amount sanctioned is Rs.10,000/

Inspected about 15 Diploma & 15 Degree Colleges in the State of Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, Karnatak, West Bengal, Bihar & Assam since 1999 on behalf of PCI, New Delhi.

Member of Board of Studies (Pharmacy) of Utkal University, Examiners of Samalpur University, Berhampur University, North Orissa University, Andhra University, Dibrugarh University (Assam) since 1985 and Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa. Member of Conducting Board of Examiners of Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, Orissa as well as SOA University.

Attended AICTE sponsored QIP conducted by the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata as well as attended Seminars conducted at RCP & HS, Berhampur in 2006 and in 2007.

Member of Institution of Chemist (India) (AIC), Kolkata, Life Member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) Mumbai, Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi and Life Member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Secretary, Orissa Pharmacy College Association (OPCA), Bhubaneswar since 1991 to 2005.

Was Coordinator of PCI sponsored Short Term Training Programme in the Year 2000, was coordinator to conduct Golden Jubliee Celebration of PCI, New Delhi in Orissa branch in the year 2001, was coordinator to conduct ISTE sponsored Short Term Training Programme (STTP) in Pharmacy in December 2004. held in Institute of Pharmacy & Technology, Cuttack, Orissa, was coordinator of AICTE sponsored National Seminar in the year 2006 & year 2010. AICTE has recently sanctioned Rs. 4.11 Lakhs towards conduct of 14 days Staff Development Programme (SDP) where myself is the chief coordinator.
