“Development of Novel Drug Delivery System Containing Antibiotics for Some Oral and Dental Infectious Diseases” Preparation of locally administered mucoadhesive periodontal dosage forms (thermoreversible gel, mucoadhesive strip, mucoadhesive microspheres, liposome gel) using various mucoadhesive polymers. Study of their various physico-chemical characteristics like viscosity, gel strength, mucoadhesive strength, syringeability, etc. Study of the in-vitro drug release and skin permeation study by using treated sheep cheek mucosa. In vivo study and Pharmacokinetics of the drug, done using radio active isotopes. Dental imaging by using Gamma scintigraphy

“Estimation and Evaluation of Lincomycin Hydrochloride Gel” Preparation of topically administered dosage form by using different concentrations of carbopol-940 and the permeation enhancer, Isopropyl Myristate. Study various physico-chemical characteristics like viscosity, drug content uniformity, extrudability, spreadability, etc. Study the in vitro drug release and skin permeation by using treated abdominal skin of albino mice. Comparison of various formulations with and without enhancer.
